Bellair Farm Bird Walk    NEW!

Join us for a morning of birding at historic Bellair Farm in southern Albemarle County. Participants will be guided to several different habitat types on this expansive farm property, from ponds to open woods to shrub lines to pastures and old fields/meadows. Target species include tanagers, warblers, herons, kingfishers, sparrows, meadowlarks, bluebirds, and woodpeckers and raptors of all kinds. This is a walking tour and distances covered may be up to 2.25 miles, depending on group consensus at the beginning of the morning.  

*NOTE: Farm roads are uneven surfaces and may be extremely muddy.  

*Recommended: waterproof, sturdy boots and dressed appropriately for the weather
