The program objective for the first class is to provide an introduction and overview to mind-body medicine, and how it can improve the lives of everyone, especially our senior community. The benefit of this program is you will have tools that you can take from this program to allow you to identify stress and identify relaxation techniques to alleviate that stress. Our senior community has been through a lot of trauma throughout this pandemic, and mind-body medicine addresses trauma, and how it stresses our bodies. The ongoing 4 session group will put into practice the model of mind-body medicine in a supportive group setting.
