All of OLLI’s inspiring instructors are volunteers. There are regular opportunities for new courses and new faculty. If you are interested in teaching for OLLI, we’d love to meet you!
Leadership volunteers support OLLI through the Board of Directors and committees. There are a variety of ways to work with other OLLI enthusiasts -- please make your interest known.
Online courses: Class Moderators volunteer to support Instructors and OLLI staff with online courses, providing hospitality, communication, and logistical support the Zoom platform. A class moderator is needed for every OLLI class.
In-Person courses: Class Moderators volunteer in a class in which they are enrolled, providing hospitality, communication, and logistical support to the instructor and class. A class assistant is needed for every OLLI class. This is a great way to get started volunteering.
During in-person courses OLLI welcomes office volunteers, and maintains a list of “one-day” volunteers for special events, projects and activities. Volunteers with special skills can be “on call” as needed.
