Leatherworking Basics: Dyeing, Tooling & More   

Discover the art of leatherworking in this beginner-friendly, hands-on workshop. You'll learn the essential techniques used to create durable, handcrafted leather goods, including tooling and stamping, edge finishing, dyeing, hand stitching, and setting simple hardware.

Students will work from pre-cut project kits that allow more time to focus on craftsmanship and finishing techniques rather than pattern making and cutting. Students will choose from several different project options such as a journal cover, knife sheath, smartphone holder, or belt pouch.

Through guided demonstrations and plenty of hands-on practice, you'll gain practical skills while creating a functional leather item you'll be proud to use for years to come.

All materials are included. This course is located on the OC Shelton Campus.
