Finding the Joy of Painting   

Participants will learn how watercolor behaves on paper while building confidence and enjoyment in the painting process. No prior experience needed! Classes are taught by Shivani Bhalla.

Shivani is an artist, researcher, and educator from India with a deep interest in the intersection of art and disability. She maintains an active art practice and has exhibited her work internationally and across the United States. She brings over 15 years of experience as an educator in higher education and in a variety of community-based settings. Shivani earned her BFA and MFA in Painting in India and recently completed her PhD in Art Education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
