Days: W
Sessions: 1
Building: OL0P1
Room: Poulsbo Bldg P1, Room 120
Instructor: Danielle Guthrie
Come reset your nervous system, relax your body, and calm your mind through the power of sound.
How does sound healing work? When our bodies are in a state of inflammation or stress, our cells vibrate at a faster rate than our natural frequency. After prolonged periods of stress, it can become like a disease in the body, mind, and spirit. Humans are mostly water, and sound waves move through our bodies like ripples in a lake or ocean. When our bodies align with the resonance of sound, we strengthen our life force energy and feel better. Sound healing benefits everyone but can especially help those looking to reset their nervous system, relax the body, and calm the mind.
The class will have guided meditations that begin each sound experience, which are also wonderful for those who desire a deeper mind/body connection and want to tap into their imagination in new ways. Students should bring a yoga mat or something comfortable to lay on and wear comfortable clothing and bring anything they need to feel cozy (pillows, blankets, etc.)
