    "We're all going to die, and we don't know when," says Rev. Bodhi Be, a mentor of the instructor and director of perhaps the only non-profit funeral home. Given that important and poignant truth, there are many things we can do to prepare ourselves and save our loved ones time and stress. In this class, we will explore legal documentation, practical considerations, relational networks, wishes for your memorial and your body's disposition, and much more. All of this information is valuable to anyone regardless of age or state of health. The class will also provide free or inexpensive tools to help you complete and maintain your end-of-life preparations.

    Explore the Magical Kingdom of Fungi and its many facets.

    Join us and acquire a basic understanding of what fungi does and how it does it! How they grow, how to grow and harvest them, their relationship to the other kingdoms, including their relationship to humans, and the many uses and interesting facts about fungi.Outdoors lovers, scientists, naturalists, herbalists, foragers, and chefs, this 3 part class explores the the importance, and benefits of the Kingdom of Fungi .
    Day 1 =  Dive Into the Science - What are fungi, and History of ethnomycology.
    Day 2 =  Wild Mushrooms -  Foraging & Mushroom Identification.
    Day 3 =  EthnoMycology -  Mushroom Cultivation, Current and Historic uses of Fungi.

     After the first three classes are completed Aaron will guide a foray into the forest to get your feet on the ground and your hands on the mushrooms!

    Class is held on Wednesdays from 6-8PM with a Saturday Foraging Foray on 5/31 at 10AM

    Class will be a 2 hour hike  in Port Orchard, where we explore and harvest some of the morning's mycological blooms. Students will learn to respect and identify the mushrooms growing in a typical PNW forest, with a discussion on both safe and dangerous mushrooms.

    Dress for the weather, bring drinking water, and wear comfortable shoes as we will be hiking about on trails to be arranged in Port Orchard.
