    The Publishing Roadmap is a Journey!

    if you're new to getting your creative writing published, this four hour class is an overview of all the ways you can put your work out in the world. Students will leave with an understanding of the different types of publishing opportunities, including alternative methods, and how to determine the path that feels right for you.

     


    Have you ever dreamed of publishing your own book, but didn't know where to begin? This hands-on course guides you through the entire process, from turning your idea into a finished manuscript to holding your published book in your hands.

    You’ll learn practical, step-by-step techniques for editing, formatting, and distributing your book as an eBook, print book, or both.

    Plus, learn essential marketing strategies to help you reach the audience for your book.

    By the end, you’ll have the skills and confidence to self-publish your book and share your story with the world.

    In an age of technology at our Fingertips, photography has become a necessity in everyday life both professionally and socially. From documenting a project's progress to capturing family memories, everyone is building their own personal digital photo album. This Android and Apple friendly workshop looks to improve the quality of content you are capturing on your devices.

    In round-table format we'll explore the basics of camera composition, exposure and post processing. While building an understanding of the universal workings of your camera, participants will gain experience to take to any form of photography while also identifying the limitations of your cellular devices.

    After snapping some photos, we'll explore in camera and 3rd party editing software, adding our own style to our images. The class will also focus on data storage, printing and digital sharing ensuring photos won't just collect dust in the depth of a forgotten album.
