This interactive course offers a supportive space to practice medical Spanish with fellow learners, including a native Spanish speaker. Designed for beginner to intermediate speakers, the class focuses on practical vocabulary, common patient interactions, and clear communication strategies you can use right away. Whether you’re new to medical Spanish or looking to refresh your skills, you’ll gain tools to communicate more effectively and compassionately. This course may be eligible for select Healthcare CEUs.

Learn podcasting from Anthem Award-winning podcast producer John Yeager! This course will include background on podcasting, industry trends, and a discussion of whether you should or shouldn't produce a podcast. 

Each class will feature a guest speaker with real-world podcasting experience, along with plenty of time for questions.

In this course we'll explore the elements that make up a perfect pitch, practice pitching, and learn how distilling your book into its core elements will lead you to a deeper understanding of your work than you may have thought possible.

Workplace Communications is an introductory course designed to provide learners with a foundational understanding of effective communication skills to bolster their careers.

The course covers active listening techniques, written and digital communication, cultural sensitivity and diversity in communication, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.  

By the end of the class, students should have acquired a comprehensive set of communication skills, enabling them to engage effectively in various personal and professional contexts while fostering positive relationships and understanding diverse perspectives. A certificiate will be provided for students that complete all five classes in the series.

Resume Writing offers learners an introductory exploration into the fundamental principles of effective writing techniques for crafting impactful resumes. Are you job ready? Job Search Preparation offers learners an introductory exploration into the fundamental principles of effective applying for and interviewing for jobs. By the end of the class students will be equipped to prepare effectively, showcase their qualifications and experiences, articulate their strengths, and answer interview questions with poise and professionalism.  A certificiate will be provided for students that complete all five classes in the series.

Thoughtful composition, subtle details, and expressive use of line and color can build the atmosphere and meaning of your work. This workshop blends technique and intuition to help you create evocative, poetically inspired mixed-media pieces.

Through guided exercises and the study of famous artists, you will explore core concepts such as perspective, the rule of thirds, and tonal composition. 

Over two sessions, you will practice thumbnail sketching, prepare photo transfers, and develop a final drawing. By the end, you’ll complete a dynamic mixed-media piece and gain a deeper understanding of the creative process.

Budgeting is an introductory course designed to provide learners with a foundational understanding of personal finance and basic budgeting.  The course covers fundamental concepts, techniques, and tools to enable students to create, manage, and analyze basic budgets effectively.  By the end of Budgeting, students should have acquired essential skills in personal and organizational budgeting.   A certificiate will be provided for students that complete all five classes in the series.
