It’s time to learn about the age-old method of lead came. Discover lead stretching, cutting and forming, soldering of lead joints and framing with lead. You will be able to select art glass of your choice for your project, but everyone in class will be using the same design to build along with the instructor. The instructor will demonstrate the cementing and cleaning process. If time allows, you will complete this process in class. Otherwise, the instructor will send you home with your project and a batch of Stained-Glass cement to complete at home (because of the curing time needed for the cement, it may not be possible to complete that activity during class). All materials will be provided by the instructor. Students participating in this class will need to have completed a beginner stained glass class or have some experience.
$23 materials fee payable to the instructor.
