Handgun Safety   

This basic knowledge class is great for current gun owners or those interested in purchasing their first handgun. Get an overview of the different types of firearms that exist and learn about responsible firearm ownership, including how to safely handle, maintain and store most types of semi-automatic pistols. This class does not include practice time at the firing range. Firearms and ammunition should not be brought to this class. Handgun 101 is recommended to take before moving into the Handgun 201 class.  

Focus on improving your marksmanship, presenting the handgun from a holster, reloading and more. Classroom instruction is reinforced through live fire drills at the range to improve your technique. You will need to bring a handgun, 150 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection, a belt holster and a spare magazine pouch. This class is designed for those who have taken Handgun 201 or have similar experience with instructor approval.
