With 240 hours of training, students develop a practical understanding of manufacturing processes, industrial safety, quality, maintenance fundamentals, and the teamwork required in today's production environments.
Built around the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) Certified Production Technician (CPT 4.0) framework, the program combines manufacturing fundamentals with OSHA 10 safety training and Pellissippi State's Bring Your A Game workplace success training.
Students explore established manufacturing technologies and modern production concepts, including CNC machining, quality control, lean manufacturing, robotics, programmable logic controllers, automation, and Industry 4.0.
