ACE Manufacturing Technology Training

Explore hands-on training in advanced manufacturing technologies through the various ACE programs offered at Pellissippi State. Course offerings include CNC machining, metrology and precision measurement, computer-aided design (CAD), computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), and manual machining.

These grant-funded training opportunities are designed to help participants develop practical, industry-relevant skills for manufacturing careers and continued technical education. Whether you are beginning your manufacturing journey or looking to expand your technical knowledge, these courses provide valuable experience with the tools, technologies, and processes used in modern manufacturing.

Grant funding supports participation, but space is limited. Enrollment is subject to availability, and advance registration is encouraged. Review the individual course descriptions for specific content, eligibility requirements, schedules, and registration details.

Some courses will require a $30 registration fee; this will be refunded after you successfully complete the course.

ACE CNC Machining is a 4-day, hands-on adult workforce course designed for individuals 18+ who want to develop practical CNC milling skills. The course provides hands-on technical training using industry-standard equipment and is designed for beginners as well as individuals looking to strengthen their manufacturing skills.

Classes are held at the Strawberry Plains Campus, beginning at 9:00 AM each day. You will gain practical experience with CNC machine operation, basic setup, measurement, and part production in a supportive learning environment.

Participants will also have the option to pursue a Haas CNC certification.

Grant funding covers the cost for participants, providing access to the full ACE CNC Machining training experience. A $30 deposit is required at registration and will be refunded upon successful completion of the class.
