Discover the art of painting expressive watercolor portraits in this welcoming class for all skill levels. Beginners will learn the fundamentals of portraiture, including facial proportions, drawing techniques, color mixing, and watercolor methods for creating lifelike skin tones and features. More experienced students are encouraged to work at their own pace while refining their skills with individualized instruction. Please bring several printed reference photos of faces (or clear digital images if approved by the instructor) to the first class so you can choose the best image for your painting. Whether you're creating your first portrait or building on previous experience, this class offers a supportive environment to develop your watercolor portrait skills. A supply list is available upon request and should be obtained before the first class so you arrive prepared to paint.
