A large performance group open to all with experience reading and performing instrumental orchestra literature. You will have the opportunity to rehearse and perform as a community member joining with the college orchestra. Prior to registering, please contact JPScott@pierce.ctc.edu to discuss your instrument and experience level.
This class is held at the Puyallup campus. Come and join the Community Orchestra at Pierce College. This is a non-credit community practice group open to students with experience reading and performing orchestra literature with an opportunity for a community performance at the end of the term. Students should be able to demonstrate ability in the areas of timbre, rhythmic accuracy, intonation, expression, style and balance. Bring your professional attitude towards practice, self-motivation and effective team work to our orchestra. Note: Class leader and conductor are volunteers for this class this quarter. No class February 20th.
