    This is an encore field trip, first conducted in Fall 2025. Your tour guides will be Hal Hatfield, retired geologist and Park volunteer and Mary Beth Barr, Jerome Historical Society President. Topics will include geologic history; major town and mining events; the mine owners; the ghost town years; and what makes Jerome tick today. The tour will be primarily outdoors, so please dress accordingly. A $10 fee or a valid annual State Park Pass will be required for entrance to the State Park.

    On Tues at 10AM Michael Byrd, Director for Prescott Creeks, will share the Creek's natural history and its pivotal role in the town's history. Thurs at 8AM, we walk the shaded Granite Creek path, a hidden treasure and cool respite for native wildlife and weary travelers inside Prescott. Our 0.6-mile route follows the Downtown Greenway Trail along the creek ... natural surfaces including stairs. Meet at Granite Creek and Carleton. $15 cash donation payable during the tour in addition to the OLLI fee.

    English Country Dance (ECD, for short) is dancing like you’ve seen in Jane Austen movies. It’s fun, not too strenuous, and doesn’t require dance experience. With a combination of the few figures learned, you can dance many dances— some are elegant and some comical, some are historical and some quite recent. You will enjoy moving to music in this “on your feet” and social class. No partner is required.

    The iPhone Health App and Apple Watch have been helping people monitor and improve their health for a decade. This class will explore the watch sensors and their measurements, how to set up and understand the information they provide, and how to get more from them. You must have an Apple Watch Series 6 or later, and an iPhone XR or later. I will be teaching this course based on the Apple WatchOS 26 and iPhone iOS 26. I highly recommend you upgrade to these versions of software.

How do I decide who will represent my wishes and ensure they are carried out? What type of funeral? Organ donation or not? What do I say to friends, family, my doctor and when? Being aware and as prepared as possible might help address concerns and fears. This class will discuss these matters in simple laymen terms with that as the end goal.

    This class will cover pasta making process for noodles, ravioli and lasagna. Using the Kitchen Aid pasta attachment and ravioli cutters. Students can bring their own machine if they want. Ravioli and Lasagna will require stuffing that students will bring to second and third class. Think of your favorite cheese or meats.
