On Tues at 10AM Michael Byrd, Director for Prescott Creeks, will share the Creek's natural history and its pivotal role in the town's history. Thurs at 8AM, we walk the shaded Granite Creek path, a hidden treasure and cool respite for native wildlife and weary travelers inside Prescott. Our 0.6-mile route follows the Downtown Greenway Trail along the creek ... natural surfaces including stairs. Meet at Granite Creek and Carleton. $15 cash donation payable during the tour in addition to the OLLI fee.

This learning group continues our discussions about foreign affairs, major geopolitical events, and international issues. The facilitator and distinguished guest speakers (DGS) may use brief presentations to generate interactive discussions and civil conversations. We review recent headlines, lesser-reported events, and updates on previous headlines.

Come learn how to use AI for video editing. In the mid 90s I hiked the Inca trail. Sometime later I wrote a short piece about the hike mainly to keep it alive for myself. Recently I heard that AI can create movies. I decided to feed the story to ChatGPT to see if a movie about the hike could be made. It wasn't as simple as I was lead to believe, but with AI help I produced a 24 minute video of the hike. In this interlude I will show the video and talk about how I made it with Chat's help.
