This informal class explains the Scots’ influence on early America: Founders, Scottish Enlightenment, US Constitution, and US Presidents, as well as Scottish Diaspora and Immigration. John will share personal anecdotes and discuss the cuisine, music, and humor to introduce some levity. Brief presentations, questions, comments, and conversations.

Wednesday, May 20 the Social Committee will host our annual OLLI Picnic at Thumb Butte Recreation Site in the main ramada, with free parking.

Activities will begin at 11am, with lunch served around 11:30am

The Social Committee will supply fried and baked chicken, and water.

All guests are asked to bring a dish to contribute (remember serving utensils!):

A-H: We have you bringing a side dish.

I-P: You get to bring a dessert!

Q-Z: Please bring a salad.

There are no outlets for crockpots at the ramada.

Please register, we need a head count!!
