- Mental Health First Aid
-
Do you want to know how to help a friend in crisis? Are you a CEO trying to improve morale and retention at your organization? Or a school administrator hoping to help your students build a support system with each other? We have the right training for you.
Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to help a loved one who may be struggling. Through this training, you’ll learn how to recognize, understand and respond to signs of mental health or substance use challenges and offer the first level of support. You also learn how to give support and help someone find the right kind of care.
Mental Health First Aiders are neighbors, parents and friends. They’re teachers, first responders and veterans. They could be your coworker or your classmate. A First Aider can be anyone who wants to make their community healthier, happier and safer for all.
Our training takes the fear and hesitation out of talking about mental health. We give people the tools to start these conversations, so more people can get stigma-free support. First Aiders are a vital link between those facing a mental health or substance use challenge and the help they need.
Mental Health First Aid is a nationally known program that has trained millions of people across the country. One by one, Mental Health First Aiders are making a difference.
When you complete a Mental Health First Aid course, you become a certified Mental Health First Aider. This certification is valid for 3 years and can be renewed online for $29.95.
(This course is valued at $170 and we are offering the current introductory rate for a limited time.)
