This course introduces the principles and techniques associated with the cybersecurity practice known as penetration testing and incident handling. The course covers planning, reconnaissance, scanning, exploitation, post-exploitation, and result reporting. The learner discovers how system vulnerabilities can be exploited and learn to avoid such problems by using their garnered knowledge of these vulnerabilities and exploits to their benefit.
Credit: Completion of this course earns 4 undergraduate credits from Radford University. Applicability of the undergraduate credit to a degree program may vary.
