RIVIAN   

This intermediate course is designed for individuals with automotive training and/or experience who are starting a career in electric vehicle (EV) service. The course combines hands-on lab activities with classroom instruction and includes an integrated internship experience. Students are introduced to Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS), SAE levels of driving automation, and Rivian's camera, radar, and ultrasonic sensor suite. The course focuses on when and how to perform static and dynamic ADAS calibrations particularly after glass or component replacement and how to diagnose and resolve calibration issues.

Students advance their electrical skills by studying Rivian vehicle networks, including CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and A2B. The course covers network topology, construction, and diagnostic strategies.

The course combines hands-on lab activities with classroom instruction and includes an integrated internship experience. Students explore refrigerant types, environmental impacts, and EPA Section 609 requirements for safe, compliant refrigerant handling. Additional topics include coolant service, leak testing, and diagnosis of climate control and thermal management systems on R1, EDV, and R2 vehicles.

This advanced course is designed for individuals with automotive training and/or experience who are starting a career in electric vehicle (EV) service. The course combines hands-on lab activities with classroom instruction and includes an integrated internship experience. Students focus on Rivian high-voltage architecture and components, including batteries, contactors, inverters, and drive units. Emphasis is placed on safe work practices, diagnostics, and testing procedures for high-voltage systems, as well as understanding drive unit operation and how high-voltage power is converted to wheel torque and regenerative braking.

This advanced course is designed for individuals with automotive training and/or experience who are starting a career in electric vehicle (EV) service. The course combines hands-on lab activities with classroom instruction and includes an integrated internship experience. Students skills will be validated to ensure full time employment readiness. Additional training on latest repairs will also be provided.

The course covers brake systems, axles and hubs, steering components, and suspension architectures across Rivian platforms. Students perform core mechanical service tasks such as brake service and bleeding, hub and axle remove/replace, and chassis inspections using Rivian theory-of-operations content and procedures.
