Block printing is an ancient art with roots in many cultures that can provide inspiration for your creations. Block prints have a unique and artistic look. If you are not good at designing or drawing? Don’t worry! We have several design options for you.
Use your creativity and curiosity to carve and print your own one-of-a-kind art. This class is for everybody, from complete beginners to experienced carvers and artists.
Supplies Needed
The class fee includes most of the materials you will need in the class, such as linoleum pieces, printmaking ink, acrylic paint, fabric paint, fabric pieces, acrylic sheets, and rollers. You will need to purchase your own linoleum cutter kit and bring it to the first class, such as: Speedball Linoleum Cutter Kit Assortment #1 - Linocut Carving Tools for Block Printing.
