Wood Carving: 3D Art    NEW!

Class Overview

Carving is a simple and fun hobby that many people all over the world enjoy. In this interactive class, learn all of the basic steps to carve a small animal or character from a small block of wood.

Learn how to select wood for your project, make the basic cuts, and use proper and safe carving techniques. Practice sharpening and honing your tools to keep them razor-sharp, with confidence. Enjoy support and guidance from a local artist who will be your instructor as you build upon your skills.

No previous whittling experience is required. If you've taken another carving class, this is a good opportunity for review, work on another project and build your skills. By the end of class, take home finished art along, with skills that you can build upon for years to come.
