IN-PERSON: Six Shining Lights from Hollywood's Golden Age: Women of the Silver Screen   

**This class will be taught In-Person**

**Note that this class will not meet on June 18th, and will end on July 16th.**

In this class we’ll take a look at six women who left their indelible mark on Hollywood and the millions of fans who flocked to theaters to see them on the big screen.

We’ll discuss the highlights and low points, lives and careers, triumphs and tragedies,  of Jean Harlow, Carole Lombard, Bette Davis, Katherine Hepburn, Barbara Stanwyck, and Ida Lupino. Films will include Red Dust (1932); Baby Face (1933), Alice Adams (1935); My Man Godfrey (1936); Jezebel (1938), and Woman in Hiding (1949).
