IN-PERSON: Movement and Flows: Environmental Issues in the U.S.-México Border Region   

The U.S.-México border region has been a critical site of discussions on human migration, militarization and drug trade, however this region is also a site of important environmental conflicts. This talk will outline the elements that make the U.S.-México border region a place that is ripe for environmental injustices and overview key environmental issues such as species biodiversity, air pollution and transboundary water access.
