IN-PERSON: Graphic Storytelling—Using Comics to Tell a Story

**This class will be taught In-Person**

From short form to graphic novels, comics are a great way to to tell a story. There is no such thing as Bad Drawing in comics—simple blobs and stick-figures can tell an effective story, and your stories matter. Students will be introduced to the language and grammar of comics, develop a comics-storytelling toolkit, and start creating their own short comics stories. By the end of the session, students will have a finished short story and be ready to make their own mini-comics (zines).
