What's Your Boomer EQ?

Our generation is lucky to live longer and generally healthier than our parents. The downside is our vitality and resources can be strained as modern stressors bombard Boomers with challenges. Whether it’s our health, world events, financial surprises or relationship difficulties, our ability to cope with contemporary life is continually tested. Having the tools to maintain our emotional health are just as important as are our regular medical check-ups. This mini course, conducted in an upbeat, interactive format, will teach the basics of Emotional Intelligence. Emotional Intelligence, developed in the 1980s and 1990s, was successfully applied in education, corporate industry and the military. Studies determine EQ is just as important, if not MORE important than IQ, in navigating life. EQ skills generally peak by the age of 60. Each attendee will draw on their own life experiences to develop a custom toolkit empowering constructive solutions for stress management when life difficulties knock on your door.
