You voted and the results are in. Let's sing-a-long with our favorite Movie Musicals. In this class we will watch the top three together (with an intermission due to their length) and discuss their impact on movie history plus their importance as a political statement on the world from the 1960's until today. All three won the Academy Award for Best Picture. They include: #1 West Side Story 1961 (16 votes) Winner of 10 Academy Awards. #2 My Fair Lady 1964 (15 votes) Winner of 8 Academy Awards. #3 The Sound of Music 1965 (12 votes) Winner of 5 Academy Awards.
