The Pharmacy Technician program prepares students for the role of support personnel in the hospital, clinical, home health care agencies, mail-order and retail pharmacies. Working under the direction of a licensed pharmacist, Pharmacy Technicians provide assistance to the pharmacist in a variety of tasks involving the packaging, distribution, compounding, labeling, and recording of drugs.

Acrylic and Oil Painting

This eight-week course is based on working from still-life arrangements. We will use a variety of brush sizes and an initial limited palette of oils or acrylic paints. I will guide you in methods to depict objects realistically and successfully on a 2-dimensional surface. A variety of techniques will be on offer through individual instruction. Safe studio practices for oil painters is a priority.
