The Pharmacy Technician program prepares students for the role of support personnel in the hospital, clinical, home health care agencies, mail-order and retail pharmacies. Working under the direction of a licensed pharmacist, Pharmacy Technicians provide assistance to the pharmacist in a variety of tasks involving the packaging, distribution, compounding, labeling, and recording of drugs.

Adult Family Home

This 54-hour training course is required for those wishing to become licensed as a Washington State Adult Family Home owner. All course materials are provided; a certificate will be provided after successful completion of the course.

Course Requirements:

Participants must take a basic English skills proficiency test online.
Participants must have access to high-speed internet, a microphone, and web camera for each session.
Registration: Students must register using their legal first and last name as it will appear on the certificate.

To remain in compliance with state regulations, all SVC students must complete an online reading assessment quiz prior to the start of the course. Instructions for completing the assessment will be emailed one week before the class begins when registered. Participants are required to complete and pass the online assessment no later than Wednesday, October 7th at 5:00 PM PT.

Please note: You will receive instructions on how to access our platform and complete the English proficiency assessment once your Canvas account has been created, approximately one week before the course begins.
