A comparative study of cultural perspectives, communication styles, relationships, and customs. May include analysis of and participation in cross-cultural interactions.
Intercultural Communication is a class that provides knowledge and skills to support communication across cultural differences, such as race, gender, age, social class, sexuality, and disability status. In this course, you will spend time developing skills that support the Intercultural Communication that you might experience when you travel, but even more importantly, the Intercultural Communication that we all experience in our professional, personal, and community relationships.

Please note, this is a co-enrolled class. Community Education students in co-enrolled classes will be expected to attend and participate in classes regularly, but examinations and assignments are not required and are at the instructor's discretion. Classes may be rigorous and will have students from multiple sections. You will not receive a grade or earn college credit as a Community Education student.
