Charter Boat Captain License   

This U.S Coast Guard approved course is made up of 4 modules delivered over a 2-week period, for a total of 54 hours of instruction.  Upon successful completion the student will receive a course completion certificate to be included with an application to the U.S.C.G. for licensure as an Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessel, commonly known as the OUPV (6 Pack).  The OUPV license allows the successful applicant to take 6 paying passengers aboard an uninspected passenger vessel.   The class consists of the following subjects which must be passed by the following percentages for successful completion to receive a course certificate:  Navigation and Piloting - 70%; Charting - 90%; Rules of the Road - 90%; Deck General - 70%.
