TOEFL iBT Test Prep  

During the course, students will improve their ability to understand academic conversations, discussions, lectures, and texts. This course will help prepare the student for the four areas of the TOEFL iBT test; listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Every section of the class gives the students a chance to boost their academic English skills through a range of activities that include timed exercises, vocabulary development, responding orally to prompts, writing well-structured sentences and essays, learning about study tools and resources, and using computer software. To be successful, students should have an intermediate to advanced level of English proficiency. Upon completion of the course, students will have gained more confidence to sit for the TOEFL iBT. Students will need access to the internet and access to zoom software for weekly class discussions. Additionally, practice tests are included in class price. PLEASE NOTE: To be successful in the course, students will need an intermediate level of English proficiency. In order to qualify, students interested need to send an email to ce@ccs.spokane.edu with their full name, email address, and phone number

  • Online - Students may access the class at any time during the start/end date.

Online: self-paced with 1 hour weekly meetings/live lessons with the instructor!
