This intermediate class has 10 packed hours and is designed to go beyond the camera basics. Learn the technical aspects of ISO, aperture, and shutter speed--known as the "exposure triangle." Delve into the Ten Plus One Rules of Composition and artistry of creating those great WOW factor images. Explore the nuances of light and how it affects all types of images from micro photos, portraits, landscapes, panoramas, night photography, action-stopping moving streams, and more. Finally, learn to use the "digital darkroom" of Photoshop to produce striking images in black & white, color, and panoramas. LIVE photography sessions will be scheduled outside the classroom so you can learn firsthand the many facets of your DSLR camera, expanding your personal creativity, and seeing the direction and color of the light, time and weather permitting. One hour of private lesson at Green Gables Photography studio is included for free with each student registered for this class.
