The intent of this class is to introduce students to the art form known as printmaking. Relief print is the act of removing the surface of the linoleum block and printing the raised surface that is left. This is a very old form of making multiple prints of one image. In this class, we will explore the process of printmaking. Students will also create a relief print hat can be applied to a shirt, a reusable bag, or a card.
