Foundations of Medical Terminology

This course provides an introduction to language and terminology used in healthcare and medicine. Beginning with the foundational sources and construction of medical terms, students will learn how medical terms are formed and derived. Building on this, students will learn terms associated with major systems in anatomy and the healthcare environment associated with those systems.
