Introduction to Biomanufacturing

Learn to manufacture vaccines and other therapeutic products for the growing biotechnology industry in just 10 weeks - no degree or science background required. Upon completion, graduates will be prepared for entry-level roles at regional biomanufacturing companies with competitive wages. ESL level 6. *ETP Eligible. Through hands-on training, participants will gain the knowledge and skills needed for entry-level technician roles in regional biomanufacturing companies. Two common career pathways include:

  • Manufacturing Process Technician – Operate and maintain equipment in sterile manufacturing areas while following procedures to ensure product quality. Starting wage is $22/hour.

  • Environmental Monitoring Technician – Monitor air and surface cleanliness in cleanroom environments to ensure safe production of injectable drug products. Starting wage is $22/hour.

Upon successful completion of the program, students will guranteed an interview with Jubliant HollisterSteir for an entry-level role with room for growth.

You could qualify to pay only $25 for the program: 

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Have no prior experience working in manufacturing before the course begins. 

  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States. 

  • Provide your Social Security Number (SSN). 

  • Complete the grant application.
