People of Kettle Falls: The Salish Indians and the Hudson's Bay Company
Study cultures of the indigenous peoples living in and around what is present day Kettle Falls and the French established Hudson's Bay Company. The Hudson's Bay Company created one of the largest trading posts in the Pacific Northwest. We will explore historic sites such as Kettle Fall, Fort Colville, Marcus and Marcus Flats, Saint Paul's Mission, plus much more. We will explore the geography and geology of the region along with religious identities and social activities. Join me as we go back in time 9,000 years ago.
