Spanish Conversation: Beginning
Through live discussion, we'll practice greetings, introductions, and friendly and polite expressions to get you started with Spanish conversation. Learn the basics of pronunciation, talk about your daily routine, and find your way through familiar songs and stories with a little help. Some rules of thumb for the similarities and differences between English and Spanish vocabulary will give you a solid foundation for learning more.
Class Notes: Language classes at ACT 2 are thoughtfully planned with the interests and experiences of our students in mind. Each term, classes are shaped by the people who enroll—so while we follow a general course description, the exact content and pace may vary. Instructors bring their own unique teaching style and will adjust lessons to suit the overall level and needs of the group. Whether you're returning to language learning or trying it for the first time, you'll find a welcoming and engaging environment.
No prior Spanish experience is required. Students should bring a notebook and pen for class activities and note-taking. Course materials will be provided by the instructor. This is a supportive, conversation-focused class where students build confidence while exploring the language and culture of the Spanish-speaking world.
