American History: World War II in the Pacific and Asia
By far, World War II (1941-1947) was the most costly and deadly conflict of America's history and set the foundation for the country's foreign policies for the ensuing (almost) century. This course will follow the military aspects of America's involvement in the conflict with insights into the domestic situation at home while service men and women served abroad, as well as the political developments and intrigues of President Franklin D. Roosevelt's almost four terms of office and the development and use of the world's first atomic bombs. Join us as we refresh our parents' memories and stories of this interesting time in American History.
