Commercial Truck Driver Training - CDL Class A

Learn to operate a tractor-trailer during classroom instruction and on-the-road training. This course prepares students for the CDL Class A written and driving tests, and meets all State of Washington entry-level requirements for the trucking industry. This program also meets the 160-hour Washington State requirement. Through classes and on-the-road practice, you’ll learn to safely drive Class A combination vehicles, with additional study in airbrakes. Students will receive a Certificate of Completion.

Cost: $5,199

Requirements For Program (not in order):

1) Attend CDL Class A Informational Session

2) Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP)

3) Proof of U.S. Citizenship

4) Proof of Washington State Residency

5) Valid Washington State Driver's License

6) 3-Year Driving Record

7) DOT Certified Physical 

8) Drug Screen

Flagger/Traffic Control

Location: Spokane Falls Community College campus,Magnuson Building #27 - 2917 W Whistalks Way Spokane, WA 99224. 

This 8-hour class prepares students with the necessary knowledge and skills to enhance the safety of both workers and drivers in a workzone.  Students who successfully pass the open-book knowledge exam with a score of 80% or better will receive a Washington certification card that is valid for 3 years and can be used in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. *ETP Eligible

** A valid State ID or Drivers License is required to receive a card.**

Commercial Drivers License Hazardous Material Endorsement

This 16 hour course is required before a CDL holder can take the Hazardous Materials Endorsement test. This endorsement is not included in the CDL Class A curriculum.
