A 20 hour class to shape new, used, or recycled metal into hobby projects/yard art by using basic welding techniques. This class is for beginners/crafters, farmers, “retired and starting-a-part-time-out-of-the-garage” or even a “brush up class” opportunity for the established welders. Providing you some time and ability to have fun and make something cool using basic techniques! Students will design and provide materials for these projects. Students must furnish some supplies, clothing and safety equipment.
NOTE: The first night of class the instructor will give a safety orientation, along with a list of supplies the students will need. Students that miss the safety orientation cannot be admitted into the welding shop.

CCS supports parents who may choose home-based instruction for their children by offering a homeschool introductory course that fulfills one of the four ways to qualify in Washington: completing a qualifying course in home-based education at a postsecondary institution or a vocational-technical institute (RCW 28A.225.010 (4)(a-c). Our parent-qualifying course is designed to be an affordable, convenient, online, self-paced course taught by a homeschool parent who encourages parents just starting their journey.
