Search Advocates Training

Spokane Colleges will offer Search Advocate training to organizations who seek to enhance their Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) efforts in talent acquisition. In this interactive workshop, the CCS trainers provide an overview of the forms of bias, their effects on the recruitment process, and strategies to mitigate risk - ensuring a fair and inclusive search. HR practitioners, higher education leaders, staff, and faculty interested in evidence-based best practices will come away with applicable tools as search committee members, chairs, and consultants.

This class will show how YOU could begin using your speaking voice for commercials, films, videos and more! In this class, you will learn about a unique, outside the box way to cash in on a lucrative full or part-time career. Instructor Lisa Foster has voiced commercials for dozens of businesses and is a well-known radio personality in the Seattle broadcast market. She has been coaching and instructing beginning voice-over talents for over 10 years.
