Course Description: The intent of this course is to learn how to draw blood specimens for testing purposes. The course will cover fundamental skills, training to use a variety of blood drawing techniques, set-up of appropriate equipment and supplies for specified blood work, theoretical and clinical experience and will follow the ASMT guidelines. *ETP Eligible

Online & In-Person: The lecture portion of this class is offered in live, instructor-led, real-time sessions in a classroom environment with online sessions for support. Students must attend class during the class dates and times listed above and must have a computer with video and audio to participate in online sessions. Computers are available on campus if needed. Labs will be held in-person. Clinicals will be at various sites in the Spokane area.
