Location: Spokane Community College campus

This 8-hour class prepares students with the necessary knowledge and skills to enhance the safety of both workers and drivers in a workzone.  Students who successfully pass the open-book knowledge exam with a score of 80% or better will receive a Washington certification card that is valid for 3 years and can be used in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. *ETP Eligible

** A valid State ID or Drivers License is required to receive a card.**

Registration closes one day prior to the class at 11:30AM. 

The goal of this course is to provide advanced students with the skills to climb trees in a safe and efficient manner. The course will cover techniques for tree inspection, setting lines, work positioning, ascending and knot tying. For experienced tree workers as well as recreational tree climbers.

Students will need to bring the following supplies to the first day of class: Atlas gloves, Z87+ eyewear, and hiking boots.
