A to Z Grant Writing will take you through the planning process for documenting the need for funding in a Theory of Change Grant Project Planning Worksheet. Beginning with writing about what will be implemented (your vision for change and impact) when the project is funded, the worksheet begins to come to life. Exploring why funding is needed is the beginning of articulating the statement of need. You will learn how to document your projection of how, when funded, your project will initiate change. Once you've created the project's goals, the worksheet asks for inputs or resources (mirroring a logic model's format). This U.S Coast Guard approved course is made up of 4 modules delivered over a 2-week period, for a total of 54 hours of instruction.  Upon successful completion the student will receive a course completion certificate to be included with an application to the U.S.C.G. for licensure as an Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessel, commonly known as the OUPV (6 Pack).  The OUPV license allows the successful applicant to take 6 paying passengers aboard an uninspected passenger vessel.   The class consists of the following subjects which must be passed by the following percentages for successful completion to receive a course certificate:  Navigation and Piloting - 70%; Charting - 90%; Rules of the Road - 90%; Deck General - 70%.

This course prepares you for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) remote pilot certification test, focusing on operating small unmanned aerial vehicles or "drones" under 14 CFR Part 107: "Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems" regulations. Certification is required for commercial or business drone use, distinguishing from recreational flying. The 45-hour online, self-paced course includes one weekly hour of live instruction.

This program provides licensed cosmetologists, manicurists, estheticians, or barbers the 500 hours needed for the cosmetology instructor's examination issued by the Washington State Board of Cosmetology. Under the supervision of a licensed cosmetology instructor, trainee students receive training in instructional methods and clinical practice assisting students in all phases of cosmetology. Program fee inlcludes textbook, required kit, CIMA access, and testing and licensing fees. This class is 50% online self-paced and 50% in-person with supervised teaching. Students may submit documented experience in lieu of some of the required 500 hours, for Prior Learning Assessment (PLA).

Course Description: The Veterinary Office Manager course will teach you the essential skills to manage the business aspects of a veterinary practice while also helping you prepare to work as a veterinary assistant. You will also learn keys skills in Microsoft Office that are useful in any profession, whether you are in an entry-level position or an experienced professional. In addition, you will learn QuickBooks Online to understand accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, which provide foundational skills that jump off a resume in any office environment. Finally, this course also serves as preparation for the certification exams for Microsoft Word, Excel, and the QuickBooks Certified User exam. Upon completion, you will be on the path to success as a Veterinary Office Manager and beyond. Upon successfully completing the course, you will receive vouchers to sit for the QuickBooks Certified User (QBCU) Exam and the Microsoft exams MO-200 and MO-201 (Excel) and MO-100 and MO-101 (Word).
