Learn to manufacture vaccines and other therapeutic products for the growing biotechnology industry in just 10 weeks - no degree or science background required. Upon completion, graduates will be prepared for entry-level roles at regional biomanufacturing companies with competitive wages. ESL level 6. *ETP Eligible. Through hands-on training, participants will gain the knowledge and skills needed for entry-level technician roles in regional biomanufacturing companies. Two common career pathways include:

Manufacturing Process Technician – Operate and maintain equipment in sterile manufacturing areas while following procedures to ensure product quality. Starting wage is $22/hour.

Environmental Monitoring Technician – Monitor air and surface cleanliness in cleanroom environments to ensure safe production of injectable drug products. Starting wage is $22/hour.
Upon successful completion of the program, students will guranteed an interview with Jubliant HollisterSteir for an entry-level role with room for growth.

Course Description: The phlebotomy program prepares individuals to draw blood specimens for testing purposes. The program integrates our ‘foundations of healthcare’ content in safety, A&P, communications, etc; followed by practical training to use a variety of blood drawing techniques, prepare and maintain laboratory supplies and equipment and appropriately set-up for laboratory testing.
