The Eight Treasures are a set of ancient qigong exercises that originated in China have been practiced around the world for thousands of years. This form originates from the teachings of an aged herbalist named Li Cheng Yun who lived high in the mountains and is recognized as one of the longest living humans on record. Each movement focuses on a different organ system to improve well-being and optimal functionality. If practiced routinely, this form may improve your health significantly. Studies have shown that regular practice of these exercises may provide physiological benefits such as improved digestion, cardiovascular function, and cognitive health. In this class, we will also learn other subtle movement and relaxation techniques to enhance our innate healing abilities. This form is easy to do and is very fun and invigorating!
