Building & Sustaining a Successful Nonprofit Organization   

Are you considering starting a new nonprofit organization? this two-part course will explain what is a "public benefit corporation", the application for tax exempt status, and the roles, duties and responsibilities of nonprofit board members.

Charitable organizations must engage in a broad array of fundraising tactics to secure their annual revenue, observe a strict code of ethical practices, and report the results of its programs and services as public benefits delivered back to its community. The workshop will cover these and more.

Instructor Jim Greenfield is an author of several books on nonprofit management and fundraising and is a certified SCORE Mentor.
