The Other Fermented Drinks: Milk & Water Kefir   NEW!

Kefir is an age-old probiotic beverage that is a charming and light health tonic. In this informative class you will learn how to create your own milk and water kefir. An in class demonstration will be given on using both OLY~CULTURES “LIVE” cultures as you learn why using live cultures vs dehydrated cultures is more desirable. The class will include step by step instructions on both kefirs. The class will be covering the 1st fermentation process, 2nd fermentation process, temperatures, ingredients, best milk or water sources, alternatives to water or milk sources, when and what to use when flavoring, bottling, other uses for milk kefir, milk kefir for pets and everything in between. You will be able to sample both types of kefir in the class.
