Fermenting "WILDCARD" Class   NEW!

You choose the FERMENTING topic to be taught for this class!! Fun!!

This class will be determined by the participants in the previous fermenting classes. As the fermenting classes are being taught each quarter, a list of 3-fermenting topics will be provided at the end of the class. Participants will be asked to choose one fermenting topic from the 3 listed. The most requested fermenting topic will end up being the final fermenting class for that quarter. The list of 3-fermenting topics may vary from quarter to quarter, due to seasonal availability of certain produces. It is all up to you and what you want taught.

Have you taken all the classes in The Art of Fermenting at Home Certificate, or do you have a base knowledge of fermenting and want to take this class? You can email us the topic you are most interested in. Julie will tally all the "votes" to determine the WILDCARD class content.

Fall class topic options for the WILDCARD:
1."Wild Yeast" Sourdough Starter - Free yourself from commercial yeast!
2. Fermenting Vinegars: fruit or herb, what is in season & available
3. Lacto-Fermenting at home - this is not a dairy: also called lactic acid-fermentation.
