Agile Project Management   

This two-day course offers a high-level overview of various project management approaches, from prescriptive to adaptive methodologies. Participants will delve into Agile project management delivery principles, emphasizing Scrum and Kanban. The class features interactive discussions and hands-on activities tailored for effective agile project management.

Performance Objectives: Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:  Define Project Management; Differentiate Between Prescriptive and Adaptive Project Delivery Approaches; Explain a Spectrum of Common Project Management Methodologies; Understand Agile Origins, Core Values, and Principles; Describe the Key Elements of Scrum and Kanban; Apply Agile Learning through Scrum Roles, Artifacts, and Events; Apply Kanban Learning using Visual Workflow Boards; Recognize Agile Requirement Hierarchy and Traceability Importance.

This course covers practical, hands-on learning related to the following Agile topics: Project Vision & Goals; Key Roles and Responsibilities; Release Plans; Backlogs; Requirements; Use Cases; Personas; Journey Mapping; Themes and Epics; User Stories; Acceptance; Estimating the Level of Effort; INVEST; Traditional Sprint;  Ceremonies/Events; Performance Metric Tools.

Audience: Intended for anyone involved in Agile project implementation. For agencies seeking to improve their agile maturity profile and support their goals of becoming agile journey ready. 

Pre-requisite: Completion of Project Management Essentials is strongly encouraged, but not required.
